Yesterday, we received our first glimpse of the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V, through a 60FPS trailer on Rockstars website. The confidence that Rockstar has in the game is immediately apparent from watching the trailer, as you see the breathtaking graphics and gaming running at a smooth 60FPS. The trailer builds in intensity as it cuts from normal life in Los Santos, to exciting, adrenaline filled heists. It really shows the variety of Grand Theft Auto V, and the different activities that you can partake in. Hopefully, the trailer has helped to regain faith in the community after the mediocre port of Grand Theft Auto IV. One thing that has not been announced as of yet is the support of mods, which helped to improve and create new ways to play the previous games. Personally, I would love the inclusion of either the Steam workshop or official mod support, or for the game to just be moddable easily.
The game seems to be shaping up nicely, and whilst it might not look identical to screenshots released, it still blows me away to see it running in action. 4K support has already been announced, and seems like it will be the definitive way to play the game. As a user who played the game originally on the PS3 and skipped the PS4 port, additions such as the first-person mode, and improvements to the game mechanics excite me. I feel that the mouse and keyboard will be the best way to play the game, as I have always had problems with the controls on consoles. To explore the sprawling metropolis of Grand Theft Auto V is an amazing experience, and with the upcoming release on PC, I don't feel like I will stop playing anytime soon.
The online component of Grand Theft Auto V will also be improved for the upcoming release on PC, with the increased player count, as well as a smoother experience. Hopefully in the future, we will see modded GTA V servers along the lines of role-play, or the very popular battle royale game mode. A realistic server would also be interesting, with only first-person controls and realistic gunshot wounds. With all of this in mind, we don't have much longer to wait, as the game will be released on the 14th of this month. A look at the Rockstar Editor is said to be released later this week, so we will put some articles up about it when more information is released. We look forward to sharing our opinions on the game once we get our hands on it, and to be able to play it with our friends and fans!
