The Best of Adelaide Fringe: The International Comedy Show was held in the Historian Hotel, and it was the first time I've been in the venue. The show was hosted by Sean Quinn, and there were three acts, Nik Coppin, Donal Vaughan and Terry North.
Sean Quinn started off the show with an instantly engaging stage presence, and the crowd was pumped for the international performers. Coppin was first up, and was splendid as usual. His set mixed a number of different topics such as race and politics in a humorous manner. Vaughan was next, and his jokes about his life and appearance were endearing yet hilarious. North was the last act of the night, and during his set he reflected on his life and antics, it was amusing stuff!
Overall, the three acts and the host managed to put together a pretty excellent show, and I found myself thoroughly entertained over the course of the one hour set.
