Bernie Dieter's Little Death Club Review

Bernie Dieter's Little Death Club was an evocative blend of cabaret and burlesque, and was a delight to watch! The show took place in the immediately atmospheric Wonderland Spiegeltent in Gluttony, and as everybody was taking their seats, different characters started to walk around talking to the audience members. The audience interaction/fourth wall breaking throughout the show was excellently done, with the host of the show Bernie calling individuals different nicknames (Stripey, Grey Fox), whilst improvising different jokes and moments to hype up the rest of the crowd.

The different acts in the performance were wild and wacky, ranging from nutella eating bearded ladies, to gender-bending gymnastics, to an irate mime who was fed up with his job. Bernie also performed a number of songs, most of them closely related to the fictional setting/double entendre, The Little Death Club. Overall, the show was a very fun experience and I would recommend fans of caberet and burlesque alike to check it out!
