Jack Tucker: Comedy Standup Hour Review

Award winning comedian Zach Zucker is at it again, with a hysterical new comedy show that is sure to amuse, confuse, shock and please you through it's hour running time. Zucker's style is most certainly unique, a fascinating blend of physical and absurdist comedy that had me in stitches for the majority of the show. Zucker took on the persona of the aptly named Jack Tucker, a man from New York who is just trying to make ends meet by making people laugh, whilst discussing many details about both Adelaide and Australia, as well as sending video recordings to his son from other peoples phones.

As you can probably tell from the statement above, the show was a whirlwind of comedic ideas and improvisation, neatly connected through different performances and skits. Zucker was incredibly quick-witted, talking to the audience throughout the show, as well as having recurring jokes pop back up just at the right moment to make the audience roar with laughter. Audience comments would also result in funny musical cues and sound effects, further adding to the hectic nature of the show. Zach stumbled round the stage spilling beer onto himself, whilst impressing the audience with his broad range of celebrity impressions, as well as his knowledge regarding the female form.

Zucker's latest show is a must see, you have to experience his hilarious and zany antics that left myself and most of the crowd in stitches!

4 and a half stars.
